  • Married to Andre Kriel since 2012; Met while teaching at West Rusk High School.  Andre is a Graphic Media, Yearbook and Theatre teacher just down the road at Carlisle High School.  We live in Troup and pastor River of Life Community Church. Two children, Natalie Starkey, graduate of Troup HS, 1997.  Natalie is an NP with the Sleep Institute in Tyler. Melissa Mason, graduate of Troup HS 2002. Melissa is the owner and operator of Unique hair salon Troup. Megan Kriel lives in Bois Idaho, Keliegh Kriel lives in Washington State.  Eight grandchildren Colton Amidon, born in 1998, Austin Starkey born in 2001, Calvin Mason born in 2004, Caden Starkey born in 2006, Skylar Mason born in 2007, Starla Mason born 2011, Isbella Starkey born 2011, Chole Mason born in 2014.  All live in the Troup area.
