Fall Semester 2008 Test for Computer Literacy

1.    Open Easy Tech Lessons so you can see your grades in the stars.  Also open the calculator from accessories and add the scores for the “Lessons,”11-19 then divide by 9 if you only have 6 you will still divide by 9. Write that score here___________.

2.    Do the same thing with the quiz grades (11 and 19.)   Add them up and divide by 2.  Write the score here ____________.

If you do not save correctly you will loose

30 points on the project.

1.   Open your “breport2vs” and save as “fbreport2vs” (final copy) in you’re my documents folder.  Be sure all the editing on the overhead is already done.

          Additional editing in this way:

a.       Add a header by cutting and pasting your title into the header.

b.      Check and add a footer to your paper with the date only. (since you have a by line)

c.      Select the entire paper and change the font to 12pt., then select the last paragraph and make the font red.

d.      Save and then close for now. (Ms. Sharp will check you’re my documents folder to grade.)

2.  Open your Calendar from print shop and save as fpdec2vs (final project) in the same folder.

a.      Make these corrections to the calendar:

b.     Change the size of the headliner to 1/2 the size and add a graphic that is not Christmas.

c.     Edit December 19^th to the words YEA only.

d.     Put a “tree ornament graphic” only on the 24^th, (not Christmas Eve.)

e.      Type Merry Christmas on the 25^th.

f.       Add the graphic, I’m Melting on the 26^th.

3.   Go back and print the final copy of the book report and staple it to the written test.

4.   Then turn in test to back counter and ask Ms. Sharp to check your Calendar.
