For Sixth Grade Band

All sixth grade band members perform in two concerts.  The first concert is our winter concert in December.  The second concert is our spring concert in May.  Students that have passed off their music, and have not had excessive discipline refferals are qualified to go to a third performance, the Spring Band Festival.    At this fetival, students perform as a full band, and may be selected to also perform a solo and/or ensemble.  


For Seventh and Eighth Grade Band:

Sectional Rehearals  -  This will be new this year.  In the spring, we will have a required after school practice for each section of the band.  This will take place one time a week.  The schedule will be as follows

Seventh / Eighth Grade Band Night -  This is new this year!  Every six weeks, we have a Band Night. These will usually be on a Thursday night. All students that have an A in band, qualify for Band Night.  Every six weeks we will do something fun, like a movie night, or bowling night, etc.  Since this is new this year, we could use all the help we can get from parent volunteers.  Let us know if you can help!  


Seventh / Eighth Grade All Region Try Outs -  Everyone should have their all region try out music.  All  members are expected to audition!  See Mr. W or  Mr. M  for music, or info.


Seventh / Eighth Grade Solo and Ensemble  -  Everyone should have their solo and ensemble music.  All  members are expected to perform!  See Mr. W or  Mr. M  for music, or info.
